The Barrington Farmers Market was established in the year 2000 through the efforts of the Barrington Village Association (BVA), a homeowner’s not-for-profit group made up of residents living within the four quadrants of the downtown village area. With the motto “Bringing Neighbors Together”, the Barrington Village Association has run the market with the objective of building community, adding to the character of our historical district, and increasing foot traffic in the downtown Barrington area

Barrington is a friendly walk-around town. Much of the downtown area has recently gone through extensive redevelopment and has brought new life to the entire area. Our market is fully managed and operated by volunteers of the Barrington Village Association, but is also supported and sponsored by the Village itself.
